Richardson Periodontics & Implant Dentistry is a full-service periodontics and implant dentistry center. Established in the 1980s by Dr. Harold Arthur, our practice continues to provide the highest level of patient care by combining traditional methodologies with newer, more comfortable and cutting-edge treatments.
In addition to modern techniques, you will find modern technology that helps Dr. Richardson perform procedures faster and less invasively — ultimately translating to less time in the chair and less discomfort.
We have a small but experienced and friendly staff that can aid in everything from insurance to clinical questions. Our office is a friendly environment that is comfortable and welcoming.
The Eustis office was built in 2010 and is conveniently located along Highway 19 in North Lake County. We are certain your experience with us will be positive and you will remain long-term friends with our periodontal family.
Meet the Doctor
Joseph P. Richardson
D.M.D., M.S.
Dr. Joe Richardson grew up in Tavares, Florida before attending college in Wichita, Kansas. He was then accepted to and attended dental school and his specialty residency at the University of Florida College of Dentistry.
He practiced with Dr. Harold Arthur for almost 2 years before taking over his practice of over 30 years in April of 2012.
Dr. Richardson is committed to staying at the forefront of periodontal and implant technology, continuously improving and upgrading the office's equipment and techniques to increase efficiency and decrease the discomfort of traditional therapies.
When you meet Dr. Richardson, you will find that he always welcomes questions and will spend as much time as necessary to educate you on your condition and treatment options.

As a courtesy to our patients, Richardson Periodontics will file your insurance claim for you. In addition, your treatment needs will be estimated and the portion your insurance will or will not pay will be presented prior to your treatment. At the end of your appointment, it is customary to pay your estimated balance.
This has proven to be an effective way to maximize your insurance benefits while reducing administrative costs, enabling us to offer the highest quality dentistry.
